Thansure School started in 2010 with a kindergarten class of just over 30 students. Now, there are 245 students attending Thansure School ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 12. There are a total of 40 staff members, with most of them being external. As a Christian school, Thansure teaches the Word of God in their curriculum. Thansure School is managed by the school principal and vice-principal, Yoo Haengnam and Dara, respectively.

In 2025, the school organised a football tournament for the secondary and high school students. Additionally, Thansure School also organized a New Year Eve’s program for the students to learn the Bible, pray and set goals for the new year.

At the end of 2025 academic year, Thansure School distributed certificates of appreciation to 55 students who completed Primary (23), Secondary (20) and High school (12). Among the 12 high school students, 6 of them performed well and received incentive awards from the Siem Reap Provincial Government.

During the recent border conflict, the teachers and students of Thansure School collected funds to buy rice and clean water for the refugees. Currently, Thansure School is building their new school building and its progress is about 68% completed. By the end of 2026, the school will need around USD 308,000 to complete the construction of the school building.
